Two cuts, five remixes, as many ambiences. That is what Elninodiablo’s newest release is about. Based on two cuts - "Lunchbox Candy" and the unequivocal "Let’s Get Sleazy" - lifted from his latest EP, “Into The Great Unknown”, this new slab finds a versatile cast tackling Elninodiablo’s just as polyamorously effusive blends.

First up we have British producers Aaron Horn and Jamie Rodigan aka Crate Classics tweaking “Lunchbox Candy” into a proper massive buffet of fast-spinning DnB maximalism. Blowing the hot-tempered winds of classic 90s UK jungle in all possible directions and at the fiercest rate, Crate Classics gets the big guns talking without further ado.

Going down a more off-kilter sonic pathway, or several all at once, True Romantic offers a funky, uncanny, fractalised patchwork, truly unmatched when it comes to getting booties shaking the oddest way around, whereas Elninodiablo’s The Vata Deranged Experience remix adds his own playfully puzzle-y spin to the table with a funky tempo-shifting whirlwind of cut and re-sequenced samples bouncing in a vividly colourful maelstrom.

Then there’s “Let’s Get Sleazy”, subject to two equally dancefloor efficient and oddball revamps. All arpeggios blazing, legendary NYC-based duo Each Other (Justin Strauss and Max Pask) deliver a dynamic roller packed with feelgood vibes and kosmische-infused gusto that’ll have you odyssey-ing your way into the greater void with panache.

More experimental by nature another UK legend, The Emperor Machine (Chicken Lips, Bizarre Inc, Sir Drew etc) delivers a full-on anaolgue all steel and circuits rework that could well be summarised as robot brothel soundtrack, and boy, has it got serious oily, bolty, greasy sex-appeal to it. Time to get down to it.
